Anine Bråten
Anine Bråten, 31 years old and born and raised in Oslo, but traveled across the mountains and is now living in Bergen. She is a student, freelance writer and speaker, feminist and activist. She is half Norwegian and half Gambian – and a proud east-coast girl. She is currently taking subjects to get into the professional psychology study. She is also the school program host during BIFF, and is known for her work in the global women’s rights movement Women’s March. She was one of the co-organizers of Women’s March Bergen 2017. She took the initiative for the March for Science Bergen in 2017 as well as Women’s March Bergen 2018 and 2019. Anti-racism, justice, and the fight for women’s rights, women’s liberation, and equality across the board, are some of the issues she is deeply passionate about. She is a clear voice in the the fight for change, and has no plans on giving up before she sees the changes she is fighting for.”
