Pedagogías Invisibles
Pedagogías Invisibles, contributor of Bergen Assembly 2019, is a Madrid-based collective founded in 2009 that works in the field of art and education. Pedagogías Invisibles considers the combination of these two disciplines a catalyst for the change of educational paradigms and social transformation. The collective has four main lines of research and action: mediation in cultural institutions, research projects in art +education, training processes, and curating and coordinating of exhibitions and events.
Andrea De Pascual, General Coordinator of Pedagogías Invisibles, focusses on activating art + educationnot only as a space for critical thinking but also as a tool for the participation of the educational community in political, social and environmental issues. David Lanau, Co-Founder of Pedagogías Invisibles, promotes a line of work reflecting on issues of gender and affective-sexual diversity. He investigates hybrid roles and strategies between artistic and educational production as agents for pedagogical innovation and social transformation. Eva Morales Gómez, Educator and Member of the Pedgogías Invisibles collective, works with initiatives reflecting educational methodologies that focus on gender equality and teacher-student dynamics.

Daniela Ramos Arias, Stacy Brafield, Andrea De Pascual (Pedagogías Invisibles): Education and Mediation of Bergen Assembly 2019 (talk and discussion, 60’)
The education and mediation of Bergen Assembly 2019 takes the three positions – Assembly of Idiots, Doing Assembly, and Assembly of Phantoms – as defined in Bergen Assembly 2019’s concept as a starting point. It provides an approachable and inclusive entry point to the triennial. The education and mediation focusses on utilising the triennial as a place for exchange, offering the opportunity to share experiences and knowledges, seeking positions that were not foreseen and remain open to the unexpected. The mediation and education will be run by Stacy Brafield and Daniela Ramos Arias and has been developed in collaboration with the collective Pedagogías Invisibles. For the Bergen Assembly Introduction Days, Stacy Brafield, Daniela Ramos Arias and Andrea De Pascual/Pedagogías Invisibles will introduce the education and mediation for Bergen Assembly 2019.
