Would you like to expand your knowledge of contemporary art? Learn new skills? Become part of a creative team? Expand your network and make friends? Join our team of assemblers to experience Bergen Assembly from behind the scenes!

We are seeking reliable and enthusiastic people for our team of volunteers for Bergen Assembly 2019. Volunteers will be involved as gallery hosts, drivers, artist contacts, communication assistants, mediators, runners and more!

In return for your time we are also offering a study trip to the 11th Berlin Biennale next year (summer 2020) to say thank you for your help. Bergen Assembly will cover your flight, accommodation and exhibition pass. To be part of the study trip volunteers must commit to working over 80 hours between the end of August and the beginning of November.

All volunteers will receive a letter of recommendation for their work during the Assembly, and certificates for participation in any workshops.
